Mike Beauvais had a lively interview with Paul Gondreau, professor of theology at Providence College and author of an essay in the new collection from Catholic Answers, Inseperable: Five Perspectives on Sex, Life, and Love in Defense of Humanae Vitae. Part of RED-C's effort to mark and observe the fiftieth anniversary of Humanae Vitae, Prof. Gondreau joined the program to discuss why the teachings of Humanae Vitae can be defended and explained on philosophical grounds without recourse to scripture. Prof. Gondreau's spirited presentation of the document and the Church's moral voice are worth the listen.
