What is temperance and from where does it come? St. Thomas Aquinas wrote, “The entire structure of good works is built on four virtues…[and] the passions need a curb, which we call Temperance.” Fr. Greg had a lot to explain about the foundation of temperance, how to increase it, and even how to draw on the sacrament of confession as an aid to growing in temperance.
