It entails periodic return to God in prayer (liturgical prayer) through the hours of the day. "Liturgical" prayer means that the prayer is something that the Church gives us - it is the same for all throughout the Church. There is morning prayer, daytime prayer, evening prayer, night prayer and a more meditative prayer called the office of readings, which can be done at any time in the day.
