086 Donna Hanus: Self-discipline and Your Health
Thursday Oct 11, 2018
Thursday Oct 11, 2018
On Wednesday, September 19, 2018, host Pam Marvin invited her friend and fellow health enthusiasist, Donna Hanus, to sit down and talk about the intersection of personal abnegation and whole-body health. Donna is a registered nurse and a licensed herbalist who has over 15 years of experience in homeopathic remedies. She is particularly interested, at the moment, in the physical benefits gained from adopting a regimen of intermittent fasting. To her mind, this seems only to confirm what the Church has always encouraged: that there are great spiritual fruits from fasting. As we have been reminded in this time of trial, Our Lord stated that some grave sins will only be driven out by prayer and fasting.
