On June 20, 2017, host Pam Mavin (and impromptu co-host Judy Comeaux!) began the show by checking in with Terrie Lipscomb for an update on the remarkable kidney transplant procedure of her son, Gage, who accepted the healthy kidney of his dad, David. Gage is one of David and Terrie's eleven children and they have entrusted Gage to the intercession to Pope St. John Paul II throughout their son's lifelong battle with kidney disease. In the second part of the show, Kristin Stravinsky called in all the way from Erie, Pennsylvania, to encourage Catholics everywhere to join in the beautiful and powerful practice of the enthronement of the Sacred Heart in the home. Pam and Kristin both shared numerous stories of conversion and healing as a result of families enthroning the Sacred Heart. The Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is June 23. The Nagles talked about how they met and married; their entry into youth ministry during the 1980s at the same time that they tried to discern God's plan for their family; the marvelous circumstances surrounding the birth of their first child; and the wonderful and surprising ways that God has been present in every stage of their lives together. They returned often to the realization that youth ministry gave them a chance to spiritually parent many children as well as witness the Faith in a profound way to their natural children. Later in the program, Sean Carney, president of 40 Days for Life, joined Pam and John to discuss the ongoing work of 40 Days both nationally and internationally. John and Sean witnessed especially to the importance of solidarity between citizens of nearby towns like Waco and Bryan-College Station.
